3804405 - Concurrent employee's data visible in Reporting even though the permission is not granted

Source user is able to view the information for the Target user (Concurrent Employee) in Canvas Report, for which he does not have the permission to.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM

1. Proxy as Source user
2. Navigate to Reporting and generate a report for the target concurrent user.
3. You will see the data is visible even if it's not visible on the profile of the concurrent user.

This is happening because the target user is having concurrent employments, but their Person ID remains the same, and hence source user is able to see the data in Primary Employment Profile and same can be seen in canvas reporting.

• This functionality is considered the expected system design, where Canvas Reporting evaluates data visibility based on the underlying Person ID and the permissions available through Concurrent Employment access
• If the Source user is able to see the data in Primary Employment Profile, he will be able to see the data in the reporting as well.
