3804493 - JPY amounts appear reduced when CURRENCY_AMOUNT_BAPI_TO_SAP is called by BAPI_FTR_FXT_CREATE

Symptom

  • JPY currency is converted to 2 decimal places when currency amount handling in CURRENCY_AMOUNT_BAPI_TO_SAP is invoked from BAPI_FTR_FXT_CREATE.
  • The conversion makes the displayed value smaller than the originally provided amount (for example, 160.000.000,0000 becomes 1.600.000,0000).
