3804505 - IQ01 serial number length validation not executed via user exit EXIT_SAPLIPW1_008

Symptom

  • When Material and Serial Number are entered in transaction IQ01 and ENTER is pressed, the system does not validate that the Serial Number has 7 digits.
  • No error is displayed even though a validation was added in a user exit EXIT_SAPLIPW1_008.
  • Enhancement spots are shown in INITIAL status.
