3804528 - Goal Details Not Displayed When Accessing Performance Form Deep Links via Story Reports - SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

• When opening a Performance Review Form from a Story report deep link, the Goal Details section displays as blank/empty.
• No error message is shown.
• Goal information is otherwise available when accessed with appropriate permissions outside of the Story deep link flow.

1. Create or open a Story report using the Performance Review domain.
2. From the Story report, select a Performance Review Form and open it using the deep link.
3. Navigate to the section of the form where the Goal Details are displayed.
4. Observe that the Goal Details section is blank.

Missing Read field permissions for the Form Reviewer role (“F”) in the Goal Plan template for the relevant goal fields prevents users from viewing Goal Details when accessing Performance Review Forms through Story Report deep links.

To address the issue, first identify the Goal Plan template used by the Performance Review Form. Edit the Goal Plan template configuration and add the Form Reviewer role (“F”) to the Read field permissions for all goal fields that need to be visible, such as the goal name, metric, and comments, etc. Save and import the updated Goal Plan template into the instance. Once the configuration has been updated, reopen the Performance Review Form through the Story Report and verify that the Goal Details are now displayed. Please note that granting Read permission to the “F” role allows users to view the Goal Details within the Performance Review Form only; it does not grant access to the subject’s Goal Plan page.
