3804623 - SNOTE errors when implementing SAP Note 3766598: missing method GENERATE_SELECT_SUC_QFIX and “Not all corrections applied” (ATC corrections) SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Errors occur during implementation of SAP Note 3766598 in transaction SNOTE while applying ATC-related corrections advised by Note Analyzer 3627152:

  • Error for class CL_YCM_CC_CHECK_API_USAGE, method GENERATE_SELECT_SUC_QFIX: "Object METH CL_YCM_CC_CHECK_API_USAGE GENERATE_SELECT_SUC_QFIX does not exist; create it."
  • Error for class CL_YCM_CC_CHECK_API_USAGE, method EVALUATE_TABL_MESSAGE_CODE: "Not all corrections applied; see change display."

Environment

SAP NetWeaver - All BASIS releases. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open SNOTE.
  2. Run Note Analyzer.
  3. Input the central XML from Note 3627152’s attachments.
  4. Expand SAP Note Check Phase.
  5. Select scope SYCM_3TIER_CENTRAL.
  6. Choose Note 3766598 from the list (shown as implementable).
  7. Confirm the prompt that the object can only be created in a SAP package.
  8. Observe the errors for:
  • CL_YCM_CC_CHECK_API_USAGE -> GENERATE_SELECT_SUC_QFIX
  • CL_YCM_CC_CHECK_API_USAGE -> EVALUATE_TABL_MESSAGE_CODE

Cause

Missing prerequisite SAP Notes.
