3804647 - How to reopen legacy data transfer segement — SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

The current Segment 2 is in an ongoing status, while Segment 1 is in a completed status. How can Segment 1 be changed back to an ongoing status in the Make Company Code Settings app?

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the “Make Company Code Settings – Asset Accounting-Specific” app.
  2. Navigate to Legacy Data Transfer settings and attempt to create a new segment.
  3. Segment 1 can no longer be reverted to the ongoing status.

Resolution

  1. Open the “Make Company Code Settings – Asset Accounting-Specific” app.
  2. Select the subsequent legacy transfer segment (for example, segment 2) and set status to complete.
  3. Select the earlier segment that needs correction (for example, segment 1) and set the status to Ongoing (Other Postings Allowed).
