3804781 - Candidate Source not available in Job Application business rule conditions - Recruiting Management

Candidate Source field does not appear in the condition dropdown list when creating a Job Application business rule.

The field is missing from the Left Expression selection for the Job Application: Basic Business Rule Scenario. 

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to the Configure Business Rules page
2. Create a new rule with scenario: Job Application: Basic Business Rule Scenario 
3. Open the Left Expression selector and check the available fields
4. Observe that Candidate Source is not listed as an option

Candidate Source field cannot be used as a condition due to a current system limitation.

Use Candidate Type as the condition instead of Candidate Source when your rule logic depends on internal or external candidates.
