Error occurs when updating jobInfo Section configuration in BCUI: For the HRIS element jobInfo, the section configuration can't be different for the base HRIS element and the Country/Region-specific HRIS element jobInfo_HKG. Upload the succession data model to change the configuration.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Open Manage Business Configuration (BCUI) and navigate to HRIS element jobInfo.
2. Maintain Section assignments for jobInfo fields while the Country/Region-specific element (for example, jobInfo_HKG) still contains configured fields with blank sections.
3. Save changes. The system returns the error.
   

1. In Provisioning, export a backup of the relevant Data Model.
2. In BCUI, temporarily remove all fields from the Country/Region-specific HRIS element. Or remove CSF configuration via data model import.
3. Maintain and save the Section configuration in the base HRIS element jobInfo.
4. Re-import the Data Model to restore the original country/region-specific jobInfo configuration.
