Symptom

You wish to block employees from making changes to the timesheet before a certain set date.

Information in screenshots is from an SAP internal system, all similarities to customer data is purely coincidental

Environment

Resolution

  1. Manage data
  2. Create Time recording admissibility object
  3. Set 'Amendments Allowed' to Yes
  4. Within 'Retroactive Change Restriction' set the dates as which of no changes are allowed and when this should become active
  5. Save your changes
  6. Assign the admissibility to the employee job profile
