• When running contract valuation posting, the posting fails with error.
• Error code: REEXFI000
• Error message: Sales tax code not found for company code &1 Y1 Y-NONE &2.
• Error message parameter describes key date and company code as well.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Use App 'Periodic Valuation Posting - Background Job' or App 'Post Valuation for Contracts'
• Execute a valuation posting in Simulation or Update Run modes for a lease contract
• Observe error message REEXFI000 - 'Sales tax code not found for company code &1 Y1 Y-NONE &2'
• The error is showing tax type Y1 and tax group Y-NONE, even if this combination is not assigned and not used in posting parameters of the contract.

Valuation postings for lease contracts are always processed with a zero tax code. This zero tax code is always determined by the zero tax indicator assigned for the company code (this setting cannot be changed).

The relevant tax type and tax group combination is in turn Y1 - Y-NONE in a lease-in scenario - this combination must have a valid tax code assigned on the given key date (posting date) in configuration.

1. Open configuration activity SSCUI 102115 “Assign Tax Code (for FI Document)”.
2. Check the zero tax indicators used for valuation postings (lease-in, 0% input tax): tax type Y1 with tax group Y-NONE.
3. Maintain a valid tax code assignment for Y1 / Y-NONE that covers the valuation posting date (extend validity or add a new entry effective from the required date).
4. Save the configuration.
5. Run the contract valuation posting again and confirm that the posting completes without error REEXFI000.
