3805248 - Target IdP stuck and Authentication Configuration Status shows Incomplete in admin tool — SAP Analytics Cloud

• Target identity provider (IdP) appears stuck in the administration tool.
• Authentication Configuration Status shows as Incomplete.
• When switching conditional authentication to a corporate IdP, the error “it seems that you don't have an active account.” appears.
• Network trace shows no SAML response from the corporate IdP and an IAS logout is issued.

1. In the IAS configuration for the application, switch conditional authentication from IAS local authentication to the corporate identity provider (Entra ID).
2. Navigate to the tenant URL and initiate sign-in.
3. Observe that authentication fails with the message: "it seems that you don't have an active account."
4. If a HAR trace is captured during the attempt, observe there is no SAML response from the corporate IdP and that IAS issues a logout.

1. Complete the SAML SSO configuration between the application and SAP Cloud Identity Authentication Service (IAS), then run Validate Login in the administration tool to finalize the trust and clear the Incomplete status.
2. If conditional authentication is configured to use a corporate IdP and users receive “it seems that you don't have an active account.” with no SAML response observed:

• 1. In IAS, open the application configuration used by the service.
• 2. Enable the User Store toggle (ensure the affected user exists in IAS).
• 3. Save the configuration and retest the login.

If access is required while investigating, temporarily switch authentication back to IAS local authentication and then revert to the corporate IdP after completing the steps above.
