Symptom

When cancelling a confirmation in the "Cancel Production Order Confirmation (CO13)" app, error RU704 ("Future change records for background processing exist for order &") occurs, although no related postprocessing records are visible in COGI.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to cancel a production order confirmation using "Cancel Production Order Confirmation (CO13)".
  2. Observe the error message "Future change records for background processing exist" (RU704).
  3. Check Reprocess Goods Movements (COGI) and note that no relevant records are listed.

Cause

Unposted future change records for the confirmation exist and are queued in transaction CO1P.

Resolution

  1. Open transaction CO1P.
  2. Identify the future change records related to the affected confirmation.
  3. Post/process the listed entries in CO1P manually.
  4. Return to transaction CO13 and retry the cancellation of the production order confirmation.
