3805781 - SAP Event Broker returning unexpected errors in Execution Manager Dashboard - SuccessFactors

SAP Event Broker is returning unexpected error notifications in SuccessFactors "Execution Manager Dashboard" that say the following:

• Execution started at Subscriber
• Event Processing Failed.

However, it's not clear from where this is coming from and what exactly is failing.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

This is currently an expected behavior.

SAP Event Broker events are included in the default set of events enabled for SAP Cloud Application Event Hub. Due to this default enablement, these events are logged in the Execution Manager Dashboard.

The SuccessFactors Product Engineering team has planned an enhancement to address the unexpected logs. Once deployed, SAP Event Broker events will no longer appear in the Execution Manager Dashboard unless the corresponding event is explicitly subscribed to on the BTP side.

No ETA is currently available for this enhancement deployment. Once a date is defined, this KBA here will be updated.

Workaround

You can disable the notifications in the "Process Type" level:

And enable it on the "Process Definition" level for each one of the events you want to actually receive notifications:
