3805785 - BAdI SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON is not triggered

A new workflow has been configured for a new sales document category, for example, "I - Order Without Charge". The BAdI SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON is configured and workflow setup is done, however, upon creating sales documents for that newly configured category, for example, sales orders without charge, the BAdI is not triggered, so approval reason is not set and approval process never starts.

Example using SD Document Category  "I - Order Without Charge" and sales orders without charge (CBFD)

1. Configure a flexible workflow for sales orders without charge with appropriate start conditions in Manage Sales Document Workflows.
2. Configure BAdI SD_APM_SET_APPROVAL_REASON and make sure the conditions cover the scenario for this document category and type.
3. Create and save a sales order without charge that meets the defined BAdI conditions and workflow start conditions.
4. Observe that no workflow instance starts and the document shows as not relevant for approval.

There's no assignment of an approval request reason for the SD Document Category.

Using the configuration activity "Assign Reasons for Approval Request" (ID: 102752), assign an approval request reason for the concerned SD Document Category.
