3806063 - SAP Solution Manager connection to SAP products based on Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition is failing

Symptom

You execute SOLMAN_SETUP on SAP Solution Manager to connect to/to set up the monitoring environment for following SAP products:

  •  SAP LOADRUNNER product based on Microsoft SQL Server 'Standard Edition'
  •  SAP Quality Center product based on Microsoft SQL Server 'Standard Edition' 

The solman_setup returns following error messages.


"Error in Managed System Configuration/DBACOCKPIT: “Exception CX_DB6_CON in class CL_DBA_DBCON method SAVE line 35 / RC=Duplicate entry.”
"Error context observed: DBSL supports only SQL Server Database Engine Edition = 3 (Enterprise); connections to Engine Edition = 2 (Standard) are rejected."
