3806181 - How to Use the Production Order Information System (COOIS) — Object Types, Profiles, Variants, and Navigation

It is not clear how to use T-Code COOIS (Production Order Information System) to monitor and report on multiple production orders simultaneously. Questions arise about which object types can be displayed (order headers, operations, components, confirmations, PRTs, capacities, goods movements, etc.), how the Object Overview differs from Individual Object Lists, how overall profiles and layouts control the display, how to save selection variants for reuse or background scheduling, how to navigate from COOIS to order maintenance transactions, and how COOIS relates to older transactions CO26 and CO28. It is also unclear how COOIS differs from COHV (Mass Processing) and what actions can be taken directly from the list.
