Symptom

  • Is it possible to validate the RFC Streaming setup for an ABAPAdapter remote source by manually creating and running an IM_HANA_ABAPADAPTER job in the source ECC or S/4HANA system?
  • The manually created job fails in SM37 and generates an ABAP short dump (ST22) with exception condition "SERVER_NOT_REGISTERED" in program /SAPDS/RPT_STREAM_READ_TABLE.
  • Other IM_HANA_ABAPADAPTER_<timestamp>_<id> jobs scheduled automatically by the DP Agent complete successfully.
