When calling the Sales Price – Retrieve API, the custom logic SD_SLS_MODIFY_HEAD_TAX is not triggered, and as a result, the target tax condition is not determined as expected.

The Sales Price – Retrieve API executes pricing in billing document simulation mode, in which the sales order header BAdI SD_SLS_MODIFY_HEAD_TAX is not called.

This may result in missing or inconsistent tax condition determination. 

As a workaround, consider maintaining dedicated tax condition records for the relevant scenario to ensure that tax is determined directly during the API pricing run, without relying on a sales order header BAdI override.
