Symptom
- In the Display Change Document app, a specific change document entry for a Purchase Info Record is not appearing.
- After creating a new condition record in the Purchase Info Record, one expected change document entry is missing.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Create or update a condition record in a Purchase Info Record.
- Open ME13 -> Condition button -> Select the specific condition record -> Header Data -> Check the Created By and Created On fields in Technical Data.
- Open the Display Change Document app for the same Purchase Info Record.
- Observe that the expected change entry related to creation information is not displayed.
Cause
Standard system behavior: the Created By and Created On fields of a Purchase Info Record condition record represent creation information and are not reflected in the Display Change Document app.
Resolution
Should you wish to retrieve the data for these two fields, the following CDS views can be utilized:
- I_PURGINFORECDPRICECNDNAPI01 (Retrieve the condition record number saved within the PIR)
- I_PurgPrcgConditionRecord (Navigate to the corresponding condition record number to check the specific Created By and Created On information )
Alternatively, the API A_PurgPrcgConditionRecord entity within API_PURGPRCGCONDITIONRECORD_SRV can be used to directly retrieve the Created By and Created On fields from the PIR condition record.
