3806429 - Runtime error CONVT_NO_NUMBER in Manage Automatic Payments when using a custom format based on JP_ZENGINKYO_XML - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• The custom format for foreign bank transfers was copied from the standard domestic bank transfer format JP_ZENGINKYO_XML and generate payment in Manage Automatic Payments app.
• Error message: "Internal session terminated with a runtime error CONVT_NO_NUMBER (see ST22)" occur during a payment run.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create the custom format for foreign bank transfers by copying from the standard domestic bank transfer format JP_ZENGINKYO_XML.

2. Run Manage Automatic Payments.

3. Go to View log and observe the error: "Internal session terminated with a runtime error CONVT_NO_NUMBER (see ST22)".

4. The dump detail in backend showing that "123,03" cannot be interpreted as a number.

The domestic format JP_ZENGINKYO_XML allows only JPY amounts without decimals. When a foreign bank transfer with a decimal amount (for example, in CNY) was processed, a number conversion error occurred, causing a dump.

Create a custom format by copying JP_ZENGINKYO_I_XML (international bank transfer (XML)), which supports the correct amount structure for foreign bank transfers, including decimals.
