Reproducing the Issue

Validate the SuccessFactors connection

Cause

The Login Name configured in the user details in SAP Cloud Identity Services user management doesn't match the user name entered in the USERNAME field for the SAP SuccessFactors user.

Resolution

Please refer to Configuring Dynamic Generation of SAML Assertions for SAP SuccessFactors Connections | SAP Help Portal

  1. Ensure the user exists in both SAP Cloud Identity Services and SAP SuccessFactors.
  2. In SAP Cloud Identity Services user management, set the Login Name to exactly match the user name entered in the USERNAME field of the SAP SuccessFactors user.
