Symptom
A Dynamic Property based on a boolean value in an object's quick create screen does not work correctly.
For example, a Dynamic Property has been created to set Field A to required if Boolean Field B is set to false. When opening the quick create, Boolean Field B is shown as false, but the Dynamic Property does not trigger.
Environment
SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2
Cause
The controlling boolean field has a null value on opening the Quick Create, even though the UI displays it as false. The dynamic property rule evaluates only after the field obtains a non-null value through user change.
Resolution
This is the expected behaviour of the system. As a workaround, a determination can be created to give the boolean field a value upon opening the quick create
