3806489 - Error Missing entry in table T554Y_KLZBI for infotype **** and time constraint class 00 on PTP time replication.

Symptom

When replicating time data from SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to an SAP payroll system (Employee Central Payroll with S/4Hana, or SAP S/4HANA private cloud or onpremise) using Point-to-Point (PTP) time replication, the following error appears in the application log (SLG1):

Error: Missing entry in table T554Y_KLZBI for infotype XXXX and time constraint class 00

Message Class: HRTIM00COLL | Message Number: 013

Where XXXX can be any time infotype, commonly:

  • IT0416 - Time Quota Compensation
  • IT2001 - Absences
  • IT2002 - Attendances
  • IT2003 - Substitutions / Planned Working Time
  • IT2006 - Absence Quotas

The time data replication fails for the affected employees and the infotype records are not created or updated in the payroll system.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (source system)
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll or SAP S/4HANA (target payroll system)
  • Point-to-Point (PTP) Time Data Replication

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In the target payroll system, confirm that table V_T554Y_REAC (transaction SM30) contains one or more entries (i.e., the table is NOT empty).
  2. Execute any PTP time replication report (e.g., RP_HRSFEC_PTP_EE_ABSENCE_REPL) for an employee with time data pending replication.
  3. Open the application log in SLG1 (object HRSFEC_PTP).
  4. Observe the error message: "Missing entry in table T554Y_KLZBI for infotype XXXX and time constraint class 00" (message HRTIM00COLL 013).
  5. Verify that the time infotype record was NOT replicated to the payroll system.

Cause

This error is caused by a misconfiguration of the collision reaction table T554Y_REAC that is not aligned with the official PTP time replication implementation guide. When PTP time replication writes a time infotype record to the payroll system, the collision check framework invokes the method GET_REACTION in class CL_HRPT_COLLISION_REACTION. This method contains a specific bypass for EC time replication scenarios (introduced by SAP Note 3363505):

  SELECT COUNT( * ) FROM t554y_reac INTO @DATA(lv_count).

  IF lv_count <= 0.        " table must be EMPTY

    IF cl_pt_ec_time_integration_util=>is_time_replication_active( )

         EQ abap_true.

      " EC Time Replication active -> bypass collision check

      rv_reac = 'N'.       " No reaction = allow without check

      RETURN.

    ENDIF.

  ENDIF.

The logic works as follows:

  1. The system counts the entries in table T554Y_REAC.
  2. If the table is empty (lv_count <= 0), AND EC time replication is active, the system bypasses the collision check by returning reaction 'N' (No Reaction).
  3. If the table is NOT empty (contains any entries), the bypass condition lv_count <= 0 is NOT met. The system falls through to the standard collision validation.
  4. The standard validation attempts to look up the infotype + time constraint class combination in table T554Y_KLZBI. If no matching entry is found, the system raises error HRTIM00COLL 013.

Important: This is a configuration issue, not a code defect. The SAP implementation guide for PTP time replication explicitly requires that the collision reaction table (T554Y_REAC) be kept empty.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, remove all entries from the collision reaction table so that the EC time replication bypass logic can execute correctly.

Step-by-Step Resolution:

  1. Log in to the target payroll system (ECP / SAP ERP HCM / S/4HANA).
  2. Navigate to transaction SM30.
  3. Open view V_T554Y_REAC.
  4. Select all existing entries in the table.
  5. Delete all entries so that the table is completely empty.
  6. Save the changes (transport as required in your system landscape).
  7. Retest the affected PTP time replication scenario for the impacted employees.
  8. Verify in SLG1 that the error no longer appears and the time infotype records have been replicated successfully or a different error prompts but not this one.
