• The database update using saphostctrl fails with messages like:

• SAP_DB_LiveUpdate: LiveUpdate failed
• Library function failed with error: 'Generic error', error message: 'Installation failed with rc=1. Please check .../sybInst..out.'
• Installation failed with rc=255. Please check .../sybInst..out.
• Cannot stat file '.../sybInst..out'. LAST OS-ERROR: (2) : No such file or directory
• In ASE_Suite.log:
• Error: Installer has detected newer Adaptive Server Enterprise Additional Language Modules 16.1 SP00 PL02 installed in . If you like to install older version, rerun installer with '-DINSTALL_OLDER_VERSION=true' argument.
• Warning: The current "SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise" in your destination directory is not compatible with this version upgrade; some bug fixes may be unavailable if you proceed.
