3806568 - Install NetWeaver 7.5 AS Java with SAPJVM 8.1 patch level ≤63 using stack XML file

You are planning to install a new NetWeaver 7.5 AS Java system using Maintenance Planner's option “Plan a New System”. At step “Select OS/DB dependent files,”  after selecting SAP JVM 8.1 together with other Kernel files, in later step you find package for SAP JVM 8.1's latest patch level (for example 112) is automatically provided. 

However, according to below instruction in Note 1680045, it is required to use SAPJVM 8.1 patch level 63 or lower for installations based on NetWeaver 7.5 AS Java. You want to know how to include SAPJVM 8.1's lower patch level package when using stack XML to install the system.

Installation of SAP systems based on SAP NetWeaver 7.5 AS Java: Make sure that the SAPJVM 8.1 archive you use has a patch level of 63 or lower.

Note: SAPJVM 8.1 patch-level restrictions as defined in SAP Note 2951691 do not apply if you are using SAP Netweaver 7.5 SP22 Java media.

If you want to install an SAP system based on SAP NetWeaver 7.5 AS Java, you must make sure that the SAPJVM 8.1 archive you use has a patch level of 63 or lower. Otherwise you will run into an error while running the installation of the primary application server instance (see entry  Running the Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM) -> PAS installation of an SAP Java system based on SAP NetWeaver 7.5 fails due to SAPJVM Patch Level in this SAP Note).

• If you use physical installation media (DVD or BlueRay, see section Media Required for the Installation - Listed by SAP System Instance in the installation guide for your <OS> and <DB>): Nothing to do, because physical installation media still contain a SAP Kernel patch level which implies a SAPJVM 8.1 archive with a patch level lower than 63.

• If you want to run an archive-based installation (see section Downloading SAP Kernel Archives (Archive-Based Installation) in the installation guide for your <OS> and <DB>): Make sure that you download SAPJVM 8.1 patch level of 63 (SAPJVM8_63-<...>.SAR) or lower.

• If you want to perform an installation using a stack configuration file (see sections Installation Using a Stack Configuration File and Downloading Software Packages for a Maintenance Planner Transaction in the installation guide for your <OS> and <DB>): Make sure that you download SAPJVM 8.1 patch level of 63 (SAPJVM8_63-<...>.SAR) or lower.
