3806605 - Right-click Open in new tab on @Semantics.url links shows blank page in Build Work Zone (works in FLP) — SAP Fiori Launchpad User Interface

Symptom

  • A URL field annotated via @Semantics.url (type: #WITH_URL) renders and navigates correctly within the same tab in both FLP and Build Work Zone.
  • When right-clicking the hyperlink and selecting Open in new tab:
  • In FLP: the link opens correctly in a new tab.
  • In Build Work Zone: a blank page opens and the target URL does not load.
  • A workaround using javascript:window.open() with a hardcoded site URL works but is not viable across different landscapes.
