3806733 - Sales Quote CreateVersion Action Is Not Available In Cloud Studio Workflow

Symptom

  • The standard CreateVersion action for Sales Quote appears as released but cannot be invoked via SDK/ABSL or Workflow.
  • The action is not visible in Workflow Rules as an executable action.
  • The action is not exposed in SDK as a callable action, and no script extension point for CreateVersion is available.
  • Implementing ROOT OnSave/BeforeSave validation does not initiate when a version is created from the UI.
  • Requirement context: before a quote is set to Inactive or a new version is created, a custom field on the previous version must be updated.
