3806797 - Validation error when scheduling an instructor-led class: instructor has no email address - SAP SuccessFactors Learning

• While scheduling an instructor-led class and after selecting an instructor, a validation error is displayed and the process cannot proceed.
• Error message: "The Instructor does not have an email address to receive the email notification."

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Start scheduling an instructor-led class for any item.
2. Select an instructor for the class.
3. Proceed to save or continue; the validation error appears and blocks completion.

The Instructor's profile does not have a valid email address maintained.

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > Instructors.
2. Search for and open the affected instructor record in edit mode.
3. Add the email address of Instructor.
4. Apply changes and save.
5. Retry scheduling the class and add the instructor.
