3806988 - Authorization error when opening Release Universal Journal (Task 1015) log due to incorrect authorization field mapping, SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • In the Data/Consolidation Monitor, attempting to open the Release Universal Journal (Task 1015) log for an entity the user is authorized to access returns an authorization error.
  • The consolidation group value is evaluated in the Consolidation Unit field during the authorization check; authorization traces (for example, SU53/STAUTHTRACE) show BUNIT contains the group value while CONGR is empty.
  • The task log does not open.
  • Error message: Authorization "Display" is missing for task 1015, category Release of Universal Documents, CG/CU . Message No. GK057.
