3807091 - Multiple 404 resource failures in Fiori Launchpad console when opening My Home page

Symptom

  • Multiple resource failures (404) appear in the browser developer console when opening My Home page
  • Console shows 404 for standard UI5 resources, for example:
  • GET .../sap/ushell/renderer/rendererTargetWrapper/Component-preload.js 404 (Not Found)
  • GET .../sap/ui/mdc/library-preload-lazy.js 404 (Not Found)
  • GET .../sap/bc/ui5_ui5/sap/product_homes1/.../css/placeHolder.css 404 (Not Found)
  • GET .../sap/cux/home/i18n/manifest.json 404 (Not Found)

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition 2025
  • Fiori Launchpad

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to Fiori Launchpad
  2. Open the browser’s developer tools (F12) and switch to the Console tab.
  3. Observe multiple 404 “Not Found” entries for standard UI5 resources.

Cause

Certain My Home and renderer-related resource requests produced 404s in specific UI5 versions and were addressed by subsequent UI5 patch levels.

Resolution

The 404 with redererTargetWrapper/Component-preload was already fixed in 1.139.0 and higher. Downport as well as fixes for other errors are included in UI5 patch 1.136.21:
