3807173 - FSA Business Rules: Dynamic HTML Table Generation Fails When Using For Loops in Value Variables

Symptom

When configuring a Business Rule in SAP FSA to dynamically build an HTML table from query results, the generated table cells appear empty or the variable produces no output at all

Specifically, the following behavior is observed:

  • A variable of type Value is configured to iterate over an array of query results (e.g., reservations, service calls) and build an HTML table
  • The variable definition uses a traditional JavaScript for loop to concatenate table rows
  • When the Business Rule executes, the resulting HTML table is either empty, contains only the header row, or the variable evaluates to an empty string
  • No error message is displayed. The rule executes without failure, but the output does not contain the expected data rows
