3807188 - Unplanned GI scrapping from EWM stuck in SMQ2; 555 determined instead of 551 with error M7021 in ERP – SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • During Unplanned Goods Issue (scrapping) via /SCWM/ADGI, a warehouse task is created and EWM stock is reduced, but ERP stock is not updated.
  • The queue in ERP (SMQ2) remains stuck for the scrapping posting.
  • Movement type 555 is determined instead of the expected 551 for unrestricted stock scrapping.
  • Error: “Deficit of BA Blocked … Message No. M7021”.
  • Error: “A reason has to be entered for movement type 555”.
  • Error: “A reason has to be entered for movement type 344”.
