3807245 - OffBizX Wizard – “Upload failed” Error When Uploading Metadata File

Symptom

When configuring the Off-BizX Conversion Capability using the OffBizX Wizard, the following error is displayed when attempting to upload the metadata file: Upload failed

The issue occurs during Step 1 – Setup IAS in Workzone, when using the Configure from Metadata option.

As a result, the metadata file cannot be uploaded and the configuration form is not populated automatically.

Environment

  • SAP Jam Collaboration

  • SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone

Reproducing the Issue

  • Log in to SAP Work Zone.
  • Navigate to iLearn Admin.
  • Open the OffBizX Wizard.
  • Go to Step 1 – Setup IAS in Workzone.
  • Select the option to configure from metadata.
  • Upload the metadata file.
  • Observe the “Upload failed” error.

Cause

The issue is caused by an error in the metadata file upload path of the OffBizX Wizard.

Due to this error, the uploaded metadata is not processed correctly and the configuration form cannot be populated.

Resolution

A code correction has been developed to address the root cause.

The correction is planned for deployment with release 2610B, scheduled for 29 October 2026.

Workaround:

Until the correction is deployed, the configuration can be completed manually.

In Step 1 – Setup IAS in Workzone:

  1. Skip the Configure from Metadata upload.
  2. Select Configure Manually.
  3. Verify that the manually entered configuration matches the expected configuration.
  4. Select Save and next to continue the wizard.
