3807274 - Requirement 4 not fulfilled for condition type in SD pricing in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

In the configuration activity "Set Pricing procedure"(101117) , requirement 4 is assigned to condition type but in the Pricing Analysis tab of the SD document, the following message is displayed: "This requirement is not fulfilled and so the condition is excluded from further processing."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Assign Requirement 4 to the relevant condition type in the pricing procedure in configuration activity "Set Pricing procedure"(101117).
2. Create a SD document item for a material with a maintained cost in valuation data; open item conditions and the Analysis tab.
3. Observe that the condition type is not determined and the Analysis tab shows the requirement not fulfilled message.

Requirement 4 corresponds to “Determine costs according to item category configuration (TVAP)” and checks the “Determine Cost” indicator (technical field EVRWR)of item category. This behavior arises because item category has Determine Cost disabled (EVRWR not set), so Requirement 4 is not fulfilled and the condition is excluded.

Follow below steps to avoid the error:

1. Review the item category configuration for the affected document type.
2. If consistent condition determination is required, enable the “Determine Cost” indicator for the quotation’s item category so that EVRWR is set and Requirement 4 is fulfilled.
3. Adjust the pricing procedure (requirement/condition type assignment) to align with the intended business behavior across document types.
4. Verify results in the pricing Analysis tab:
   • When Determine Cost is not enabled, confirm the message “This requirement is not fulfilled and so the condition is excluded from further processing.”
   • When Determine Cost is enabled (EVRWR = 'X'), confirm the condition type is determined as expected.
