3807289 - Automatic Reprocessing of Failed Business Partner Relationship Replication in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

During Business Partner replication between systems, the relationship replication fails with errors such as "Relationship Failed," "Locked," or "Not Found." The relationship message may fail because the corresponding Business Partner master records are not yet available in the target system.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

The issue may occur due to a timing or sequencing issue during replication. The relationship message is processed before the corresponding Business Partner master records are fully created or available in the target system.

Resolution

Configure the Automatic Reprocessing in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition to automatically retry eligible failed messages. For more information refer Automatic Reprocessing.

Steps:

  1. Open the Automatic Reprocessing app.
  2. Select Create Entry and maintain the relevant namespace and interface name.
  3. Enter the message class and message number corresponding to the error.
  4. Maintain the maximum number of retries and the waiting time between attempts.
  5. Save the Changes.

Note: Automatic reprocessing applies only to eligible errors and supported interfaces. Verify the relevant interface details and retry settings before configuration.
