3807507 - HTTP 500 error for initial import to BSI TaxProfileFactory (TPF)

Symptom

When attempting to perform the initial import of a Tax Company into BSI TaxProfileFactory, the error appears: "PreviousEmployee: null Error :The server sent HTTP status code 500: Internal Server Error"

On the SAP system, trace on transaction SRTUTIL might show a runtime/serialization error: TYPE CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER with text "The argument ' ' cannot be interpreted as a number"
