3807545 - Cash Flow Statement – Indirect Method shows no amounts despite active reporting hierarchy in Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587) - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The Cash Flow Statement – Indirect Method business page in Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587) shows no amounts after applying filter, even though the reporting hierarchy has been configured in Manage Reporting Rules (F9259) and Manage Global Hierarchies (F2918).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Launch the Financial Statements Review Booklet (F8587) app.
2. On the prompt screen, enter the company code and period, then select Go.
3. Open the “Cash Flow Statement – Indirect Method” business page.
4. Choose the corresponding reporting hierarchy and refresh the page
5. Observe that amounts are not correctly aggregated or displayed.

The issue is related to a defect where the Cash Flow Statement – Indirect Method page fails to execute when the reporting hierarchy name exceeds 10 characters.

An enhancement addressing this issue is planned for release with CFD 2608.3. The planned release date for the hotfix is November 5.

As a workaround, copy the reporting hierarchy to a new one with an ID of fewer than 10 characters, then use this new hierarchy in Financial Statements Review Booklet under Cash Flow Statement business page.
