Symptom
- When the user selects more than 500 participants and attempts to launch a 360 form, the process does not complete.
- The system skips the form creation and throws an exception in the backend.
- No 360 forms are created for the selected subjects.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management
Reproducing the Issue
This issue can be triggered in the following scenarios:
1.Manual upload: Upload more than 500 participants and attempt to launch a 360 form.
2.Default rater configuration: The 360 form template has roles defined as default raters (e.g., Manager, Direct Reports). When the total number of default raters across all subjects exceeds 500, the exception is triggered automatically during form launch.
As a result, no 360 forms are created for the selected subject.
Cause
This is an expected system behavior. When the number of selected participants exceeds 500, the system intentionally skips the form creation process and raises a backend exception.
Resolution
The 360 form does not support more than 500 raters, and this limit is hard-coded in the system. This behavior was introduced to improve the performance of the 360 form process and prevent system overload.
To avoid this issue, ensure the number of selected participants does not exceed 500 per mass form creation.
