3807664 - IT0009 - Error "Bank * Does Not Exist" (BF00211) When Maintaining Bank Details Despite Valid Bank Key

Symptom

When maintaining Infotype 0009 (IT0009 - Bank Details) using t-code PA30, the following error message is displayed:

  • "Bank <bank key> does not exist." (Message No. BF00211)

However, the bank key referenced in the error message does exist in the system. Additionally, some users are able to maintain IT0009 successfully while others encounter this error.
