3807962 - Export to Excel fails with 'Resource not found for URI segment' when using fuzzy search in the filter for Fiori Elements v2 applications - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2608

• In the Fiori Elements v2 applications, exporting to Excel fails when a term is entered in the fuzzy search field.
• Export to Excel succeeds when using field-specific filters instead of the fuzzy search.
• Error message displayed in the UI: Unexpected server response: {"error":{"code":"","message":{"lang":"en","value":"Resource not found for URI segment"}}}
• The Gateway error log records “Resource not found for URI segment” for the export request.
• The OData request that triggers the failure contains an encoded search parameter (for example, %26search%3D...) and the export then fails.
• Sample affected applications: Purchasing Documents by Requirement Tracking Number (F2905), Manage Maintenance Item (F5356).

1. Open the Fiori Elements v2 app.
2. Enter any term in the fuzzy search field from the filter.
3. Run the search.
4. Choose Export (to Excel). The export fails with the stated error.
5. Clear the fuzzy search term in the filter, apply a field-specific filter (for example, Company Code), and export again.
6. The export succeeds.

A defect in the SAPUI5 table export (observed in versions prior to 1.150) constructed a malformed OData request when a global search term was active: the search parameter was appended as search= (missing the required $) and/or concatenated within the $select clause, leading the backend to return “Resource not found for URI segment”.

A fix is planned for delivery with

• HFC05 (10-11.October) to the Test tenant (3SL).
• HFC05+ (17-18.October) to the Production/development tenants (3SL) and Q-/P-system (2SL).
