3808095 - How to change the number range for internal orders

Symptom

  • A newly created number range for internal orders cannot be assigned to an existing order type in transaction KOT2_OPA because the number range field is not editable.
  • A new number range was created in transaction CO82, but the order type cannot be updated to use it.
  • No error message is displayed; the assignment field remains non-changeable.
