3808117 - Error "You are not eligible" during pension benefit enrollment import with multiple records

Symptom

When importing pension benefit enrollments, the import returns the error: "You are not eligible." The scenario includes importing multiple enrollment records (active and inactive) in a single file.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center → Import and Export Data.
  2. Select Benefit Enrollment as the import type.
  3. Upload a ZIP file containing enrollment CSV files with multiple records (for example, active and inactive) for the same user.
  4. Monitor the job in Admin Center → Monitor Jobs.
  5. Review the import results and the rule trace.

Cause

A product defect, identified as cache-related, causes the eligibility rule during Benefit Enrollment import to reuse the data from a previously processed record within the same file, leading to incorrect ineligibility outcomes.

Resolution

As a workaround, you can Import the affected pension benefit enrollments separately (do not combine multiple records with differing data for the same user in one file).

A code correction is planned and will be delivered with the 2H2026 release. Preview environments are deployed on October 12 2026 and Production Environments are deployed on November 13 2026.

After the 2H2026 release, retest the combined import. If the issue persists, capture a new rule trace and contact support.
