3808325 - Windows AD SSO fails (login screen shown) in BI

Symptom

  • AD SSO (KBA 2629070) fails, instead of being automatically logged on, the login screen is shown
  • In the Tomcat logs (stderr.log or catalina.out) the below error may be seen:
    com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKException$InvalidArg: The argument has an invalid value null (FWM 02024)
        at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.security.internal.SecuritySession.decodeSerializedSession(SecuritySession.java:947)
        at com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.security.internal.SecuritySession.makeSessionHelper(SecuritySession.java:1023)
  • In the BILP (BI Launchpad) web application logs, the below error may be seen:
    Single Sign On failed. The service account may not be trusted for delegation. Exception: The argument has an invalid value [credential is null] (FWM 02024)
