3808365 - Employee Rating change in Goal details also updates Manager Rating in Performance Form – SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

• In a performance form with Goal Management integrated, editing the employee rating in the goal details page temporarily mirrors the same value into the manager rating field.
• No error message is displayed.

• Product: SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

1. Open a performance form that includes Goal Management.
2. Navigate to the goals section and open goal details.
3. Change the employee rating.
4. Observe that the manager rating field displays the same value immediately after the change.

A product defect caused the manager rating field to reflect the employee rating during edit.

1. Apply the product fix when available: The defect has been addressed by Engineering and is planned for delivery in the 2H 2026 release.
2. Workaround until the fix is delivered:
   1. After editing the employee rating, click Save.
   2. The change will not be saved to the manager rating; only the employee rating persists.
   3. Optionally refresh the page to verify the manager rating remains unchanged.
