Symptom
- Multiple Fiori apps associated with scope items J77 and J78 are missing or inaccessible from the Fiori launchpad search.
- Searching by app name or app ID does not return results for the affected apps.
- Examples include: Manage Workflows – For Bank Accounts (F2796), Approve Bank Payments (Version 2) (F0673A), Manage Cash Pools (Version 2) (F3266A), Short‑Term Cash Positioning (F5380), Manage Bank Account Balances (F5175), and others.
- No specific error message is displayed; the apps are not found.
Environment
- Product: SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
- Cash apps (Public Cloud)
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition system.
- Search for the listed Fiori apps by name or by app ID in the Fiori launchpad.
- Observe that the apps are not found and cannot be accessed.
Cause
Required business catalogs for the affected apps were not assigned to any business role, preventing the apps from appearing in search or being accessible (for example, catalog SAP_FIN_BC_CM_CONF_PC).
Resolution
- Use the Fiori apps library to identify, for each affected app, the required business catalog(s) and the template business role(s).
- In the Business Catalogs app, locate the required catalog(s) (for example, SAP_FIN_BC_CM_CONF_PC).
- Assign the required catalog(s) to the appropriate custom business role(s).
- Assign these business role(s) to the relevant users.
- Refresh the Fiori launchpad or sign out and back in, then verify the apps are now searchable and accessible.
