Symptom
There is a discrepancy in the values shown in Compensation Information portlet and in the History page for Compa Ratio. View All displays two decimals (for example, 111.21%), while View History shows a rounded value with one decimal (for example, 111.2%).
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Compensation Information.
- Click “View All” and review the standard Compa Ratio.
- Go back and click “View History” for Compensation Information.
- Compare the Compa Ratio in the latest historical record with the value in “View All” and observe the decimal precision discrepancy.
Cause
The discrepancy is caused by different rounding strategies applied in separate flows: "View All" sends the original calculated value and rounds in the UI (two decimals), while “History” applies rounding earlier in the backend (one decimal), leading to inconsistent precision.
Resolution
Engineering team confirmed a code correction has been delivered to resolved the discrepancy in rounding systems. Deploy for this fix is planned for the 2H2026 release:
- Preview: October 12, 2026
- Production: November 13–14, 2026
