The Industry field is empty in the Manage Supplier Line Items app.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the 'Manage Supplier Line Items' app (F0712), add the Industry column/filter.
2. Observe that the column appears but the Industry value is empty.

Missing configuration.

In the app 'Manage Supplier Line Items' the SAP standard field 'Industry' is derived from the BP master data. Technically the business partner master data and customer master data have to be synched which is achieved via the customer vendor integration with the business partner. To facilitate the integration in the Configuration Step 102897 'Assign Industries' for the business partner the industries have to be mapped for the standard industry system. In addition for the industry maintained in supplier master the respective industry system should be flagged as 'Standard' in Configuration Activity 102850 'Maintain Industry Systems and Industries'. This should enable the display of the Industry in the standard industry system for the supplier in the app 'Manage Supplier Line Items'.
