3809098 - Sold via Entitlement Value Help Shows “No Records Found” When Creating Contract Template

When creating a new Contract Template, the value help for the Sold via Entitlement field shows "No records found'.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Navigate to the Contract Templates view.
3. Click New and select Contract Template.
4. Go to the General tab.
5. In the Sold via Entitlement field, open the value help.
6. The system displays No records found.

The entitlements are not displayed in the Sold via Entitlement value help because they are maintained with the item group type ETFX – Entitlement - fixed price w/o actuals.

For an entitlement to be available in the Sold via Entitlement field of a contract template, the item group type must be ETCS – Entitlement - contract sale.

Only entitlement with item group type ETCS will be available for selection in the Sold via Entitlement field.

1. Go to the Product Data work center.
2. Open the Entitlements view.
3. Open the relevant Entitlement.
4. Navigate to the Sales tab.
5. Under Details, open the Sales sub-tab.
6. Update the Item Group Type to ETCS – Entitlement - contract sale.
7. Click Save.

Once the item group type is correctly maintained as ETCS – Entitlement - contract sale, the entitlement should be available for selection in the Sold via Entitlement field value help when creating a new Contract Template.
