3809339 - Region of Birth picklist not appearing for France country - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• In Biographical Information, after selecting Country/Region of Birth = France, the Region of Birth field remains a free-text field instead of switching to a picklist.

1. Open an employee and go to Biographical Information.
2. Set Country/Region of Birth to France.
3. Observe that Region of Birth stays as a free-text field (no picklist).
4. Enter “Lozere” and save; the value is removed.
5. Enter “48” and save; the field resolves to “ATA”.
6. In some environments, saving once with Country/Region of Birth = France, then editing again, causes Region of Birth to become a picklist.

• For the Legacy People Profile UI, after switch the Country of Birth, the mandatory flag is not switched.
• For the Latest People Profile UI, the Region of Birth field is displayed as plain text for the five countries for both edit and view.
