Symptom

Live Version members are not returned when exporting Version dimension master data via the SAC Data Export API.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open an SAC planning model containing Live Versions.
  2. Confirm that the Live Versions exist in the Version dimension.
  3. Retrieve the Version dimension master data via the Data Export API.
  4. Check the API response. The Live Version members are not returned.

Cause

Live Versions are currently not supported by the SAC Data Export API. This is a known limitation.

Resolution

This behavior is expected due to the current limitation. Live Versions cannot be retrieved via the Data Export API.
